According to an article in the print section of ADDitude magazine extended release
viloxazine is a newly approved non-stimulant medication. I am investigating this medication and will update this post when I find out more, and will post links to resources.
While looking on ADDitude, I found a new article written by a doctor who explains safety of stimulants and other aspects of them. Check it out here.
Brain Stimulation

One other area of investigation for me right now is looking into various protocols and devices for frontal lobe stimulation being used to treat ADHD. These are not without controversy, the primary criticism is effectiveness. I'll continue looking at these. The print version of ADDitude mentioned trigeminal nerve stimulation (eTNS) as one such treatment, but at least one study did not find this to be effective. I dream of the day we can just order a neural stimulation machine for not very much money from retailers. Obviously safety is tantamount and we want to make certain these 1. Do no harm and 2. Work!
